What can I expect during my CoolSculpting procedure?
A CoolSculpting procedure typically lasts anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes. During your CoolSculpting procedure, Dr. Daniel Schneider will pass a special applicator over your target areas, and you will begin to feel an intense cooling sensation in those areas. The CoolSculpting applicator will then deliver controlled and targeted cooling to the areas being treated.
You will feel some gentle pulling or pinching of the skin in your treatment areas — think massage — as small, targeted areas are momentarily pulled away from your body and into the applicator. You will also likely feel some intense coldness in the treated area which usually subsides within a few minutes. Immediately after your procedure, you might experience some local tingling or aching which is normal and mild and usually disappears in a few days.
