Another area of my life that compliments the HCG diet Phase 3 is exercise. During the low calorie phase, exercise (other than walking) is not recommended. In Phase 3 you can start to add in more physical activity as you ramp up your calories.
I began with walking and steady state running. After a few weeks I’ve added more intense interval training, bootcamp, lifting, kettlebells, yoga and long distance runs. The biggest thing I noticed was that with my weight being lighter I had less joint pain and my endurance had improved.
One of my accomplishments a few weeks into phase 3 was that I completed the Tough Mudder. A 10 mile muddy obstacle course race!
